Focus areas include:

• Career Guidance for Grade 9 learners to assist them in making the appropriate subject and career choices prior to entering into the FET phase of secondary school;
• Career Guidance for Grade 10, 11 and 12 learners to identify appropriate career fields and individual career options they can consider;
• Establishing and supporting Career Guidance Centres;
• Evaluation of individuals to assess their suitability for specific careers, for example artisans and specific vocational training;
• Inspiration, motivation and guidance on study methods and life skill
• Workshops for Grade 12 learners preparing them for the tertiary world
• Early Childhood Development, with specific focus on the school readiness evaluation;
• Remedial assistance, with specific focus on causes and barriers to learning and development; identification of specific learning problems and supplying support strategies;
